High School
High school is different from middle school in several ways and understanding the differences is important. High school presents additional responsibilities and freedoms. While students gain the freedom of creating their own schedule and having access to a variety of clubs, team sports and student led-organizations; students will have more homework, be expected to retain more information, and required to take on extra responsibilities. The sooner students begin to familiarize themsleves with what is expected, the easier it will be for them to prepare for a successful transition now and when entering the first year of high school.
